Terms of Use

1. Operator

AlMiQaT is operated by the AlMiQaT team (“AlMiQaT”, “we”, “us”). Contact: contact@almiqat.co.

2. License Grant

Subject to this Agreement and your valid purchase, AlMiQaT grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use AlMiQaT on the number of Mac computers permitted by your plan for personal or internal business use.

3. Purchases, Paddle, and Billing

Paid licenses and subscriptions are sold and processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd. and its affiliates (“Paddle”), our merchant of record. By purchasing, you also agree to Paddle’s applicable checkout terms and privacy policy.

You authorize Paddle to charge the payment method you provide for the selected plan, including recurring subscription charges until cancelled. Prices are shown in USD unless stated otherwise. Paddle calculates and collects applicable taxes.

Pay-once licenses grant ongoing use of releases published within the included one-year update window. Subscriptions grant access and updates through the paid-through date, followed by the stated offline grace period. Optional update renewals extend eligibility without replacing the perpetual license.

4. Digital Goods

AlMiQaT is digital software. Delivery is by download and/or license activation. No physical shipment is provided. Except as required by law or our Refund Policy, all sales are for digital products.

5. Device Lock Disclosure

AlMiQaT can lock your Mac to the login screen and repeatedly enforce that lock until a scheduled end time. Application blocks can quit selected apps while a rule is active.

You are responsible for knowing your macOS account password, testing short lock durations first, and configuring schedules carefully. Do not enable long locks until you have confirmed your schedule and time zone.

6. Ownership

AlMiQaT retains all right, title, and interest in and to the App, including intellectual property rights. This Agreement does not transfer ownership.

7. Updates

Pay-once licenses include one year of free updates from the purchase date unless otherwise stated at checkout. After that year, you may keep using the version you have. Optional renewal for additional update years may be offered.

Subscriptions receive updates while the subscription remains active.

8. Use Restrictions

You shall not:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except as expressly permitted by law.
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works of the App.
• Remove or obscure proprietary notices.
• Use the App in any manner that violates applicable law.
• Share, distribute, resell, sublicense, or transfer license keys or subscription credentials.
• Circumvent license, seat, or payment controls.

9. Acceptable Use and Safety

You agree not to use AlMiQaT in any way that could cause harm, including locking shared devices without authority, interfering with emergency access, or using the App to harass others. You use enforced locks at your own risk.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ALMIQAT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM USE OF THE APP OR WEBSITE, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PRODUCTIVITY, BUSINESS, OR ACCESS TO YOUR DEVICE DURING AN ENFORCED LOCK. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO A PURCHASE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO ALMIQAT FOR THE PRODUCT IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

12. Termination

This Agreement remains in effect until terminated. Your rights terminate automatically if you fail to comply with these terms. We may suspend licenses obtained through fraud, chargeback abuse, or material breach. Upon termination, you must stop using the App and destroy copies in your possession.

13. Governing Law

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws applicable to AlMiQaT’s place of business, unless and until a specific jurisdiction is designated in an updated Agreement. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence may still apply.
